Ready to put your coding skills to the ultimate test? Welcome to Task Force — a high-energy coding challenge where speed, strategy, and sharp problem-solving will decide who comes out on top.
Teams with a minimum of one girl participant will compete online to tackle a series of exciting tasks within a limited time frame, earning points for every successful completion while racing against both the clock and rival teams. Every decision counts, and only the smartest and quickest teams will dominate the leaderboard.
How it works:
Each team will receive a set of 5–7 challenges and a total of 3 hours to complete them online. Every successfully completed task awards 10 points, while some challenges may also offer partial credit for significant progress.
But that’s not all — surprise bonus challenges announced by the Organising Committee (OC) throughout the event will give teams the chance to earn extra points and gain an advantage. From debugging battles to logic puzzles and high-score challenges, expect twists that will keep you thinking till the very end.
How it works:
-
Teams will be provided a list of 5-7 tasks on the Event Page and a time period of 3 hours to complete them.
-
Please make sure you have installed all required tools; instructions can be found here
-
Each task completed successfully provides the team with 10 points (partial points may be awarded for some tasks for partial completion)
-
Teams can try to get ahead by cashing in bonus challenges (for example a logic puzzle, setting high scores, or debugging code) at certain times determined by the OC
Rules About Resources
- Participants are not allowed to use AI (unless allowed by the task)
- They can access any traditional tools like the documentation/stack overflow to support learning/applying different elements related to tasks
Note: No specialized prior knowledge is necessary for the tasks; the event focuses on testing how quickly you can learn new concepts. However, some background in programming will be helpful
